and all families have a different story to tell. My newborn photography is focused on capturing your unique story as new parents to a wonderful new human being.
When you look back at your photos, I want you to remember what it felt like to breathe in your baby’s smell, to hold their tiny body, to protect them and keep them safe, what it felt like when they wrapped their little fingers around your thumb and how you lost hours just staring at them, soaking up as many little details as possible.

There is a huge range of emotions that new parents experience during this special time and it is my great privilege to capture these beautiful moments of bonding, love, and connection.
Having photographs taken can be a daunting idea for many but I promise to guide you through the whole session and ensure that you feel relaxed and at ease.
Where will my baby’s photos be taken?
I am delighted to offer newborn photoshoots in the comfort of your own home. This unique service ensures that you can have a comfortable and cosy photo session without having to travel to a studio location.
How should I prepare my home for the shoot?
There are absolutely no preparations needed! I’m not there to photograph your home, I’m there to photograph your family. I usually take all of the photos in one room, typically the master bedroom. If there’s another spot that we would like to use, we can always tidy it up as we go but there is absolutely no need to clean your house from top to bottom.
How long will the newborn photo session take?
At home newborn photoshoots tend to last 1 to 2 hours. I take the lead from your baby, they are in charge. We will take plenty of little breaks for feeding, changing and cuddles.
Do you pose babies?
My style of photography is very much about capturing your baby as they are in the most natural, unforced way. All I need is your baby and good light to simply capture them doing their thing and all the little details in between (like tiny toes and wispy hair). Unfortunately, I don’t do studio baby photoshoots with props but there are plenty other photographers out there who provide this service if you wish.
What if my baby is unsettled on the day?
I only book one photo session per day so there’s no time limit. We’ll take all the time we need and there is no pressure for your baby to “perform”. Your baby will have plenty of breaks for soothing, feeding and those all-important cuddles.
How many photos do you take?
Newborn galleries usually contain about 40 images that tells your unique family story. I’m not looking to capture that ‘one’ perfect family portrait with everyone looking at the camera.
Do you retouch our images?
I don’t heavily edit your images. I do carry out minor edits to enhance what is already there and to remove blemishes, scratches and such.
Do you sell the digital files?
I understand that this is important to you so, yes, I do sell the digital files.
Can I buy prints and wall art?
Absolutely, I have a full range of high-quality prints and wall art products available to buy, that are all handmade here in Ireland.

In-home newborn photo session
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
A €100 booking fee secures your date in my calendar. It also covers the photoshoot itself and the professional editing of your images.
The booking fee does not include any print products or digital images.
After the session you will get to enjoy your images for the first time through a private online slideshow in the comfort of your own home. After viewing the slideshow, you will be able to choose from one of three collections. Each collection includes a number of high resolution digital files and some print credit for you to spend in the online product store.
Collections start at €325.
