My goal is to capture who your family is
right now, not to make you do anything that is stiff or unnatural. I promise we will have a lot of fun! I take a lifestyle approach to family photography which sits comfortably between documentary and traditional portraiture.
I love to capture real connection so that you feel something when you look at my work. I create images that will become art that you can hang in your home and pass down for generations. I’m not looking to capture that ‘one’ perfectly posed family portrait with everyone looking at the camera, I love to create a collection of images that tells your family story.

Family means everything to me, you can trust me to tell your family story, to be viewed and loved for generations to come. I genuinely fall in love with each and every family that I photograph. I don’t consider these people clients, they become my friends.
Having photographs taken can be a daunting idea for many but I promise to guide you through the entire process and ensure that you feel relaxed and at ease.
Where will my family photos be taken?
During the warmer and drier months (April to October), I love to capture family photos outdoors in one of the many beautiful areas in our surroundings such as a park, mountain, beach, field etc. During the colder and wetter months (November to March), I tend to hold family sessions in the family home. But if you’re happy to wrap up and brace the cold then I’m game too!
We can decide together, which location would suit you and your family best.
How long will the family photo session take?
I understand that time is precious, especially with children, so my sessions are fast without feeling rushed. They rarely last more than an hour. Don’t worry, I’ve got great systems in place to ensure I get a variety of images for you.
What if my kids are unsettled on the day?
I only book one photo session per day so there’s no time limit. We’ll take all the time we need and there is no pressure for your kids to “perform”, let them be themselves and leave the rest to me.
Nothing fazes me…temper tantrums will pass, tears turn to smiles…so please don’t worry as there is no need.
How many photos do you take?
Family galleries usually contain about 40 images that tells your unique family story. I’m not looking to capture that ‘one’ perfect family portrait with everyone looking at the camera.
Do you retouch our images?
I don’t heavily edit your images. I do carry out minor edits to enhance what is already there and to remove blemishes, scratches and such.
Do you sell the digital files?
I understand that this is important to you so, yes, I do sell the digital files.
Can I buy prints and wall art?
Absolutely, I have a full range of high-quality prints and wall art products available to buy, that are all handmade here in Ireland.

Your Investment
In-home or outdoor family photo session
how much does it cost?
A €100 booking fee secures your date in my calendar. It also covers the photoshoot itself and the professional editing of your images.
The booking fee does not include any print products or digital images.
After the session you will get to enjoy your images for the first time through a private online slideshow in the comfort of your own home. After viewing the slideshow, you will be able to choose from one of three collections. Each collection includes a number of high resolution digital files and some print credit for you to spend in the online product store.
Collections start at €325.
