Photo wall gallery ideas for your home

May 14, 2018 | Family Photography, Newborn Photography

So you’ve printed your family or newborn photos and put them in some lovely frames, now what….. I’m here to help with some photo wall gallery ideas for your home.

PHOTO WALL GALLERY IDEAS

Think of your walls as a blank canvas….one really great way to decorate them is to tell a story with your photos. The possibilities are endless……and today I’m sharing some of my favorite ideas.

PHOTO LEDGES

Photo ledges are a really cool way to display your photos and the best part is you can easily change the photos around that you want to showcase as there’s no hammering of nails and hooks to worry about.

ADD PERSONAL TOUCHES TO THE LEDGE

Mix and match some personal items with the photos like a favorite poem, inspirational quote, painting, some flowers, a candle……the list goes on.

STAIRS | HALLWAYS | CORNERS

So there are walls in every part of your home and some of the best for photo galleries are stairs, hallways and corners. Some will like random collections whereas others will prefer symmetry; no matter which you prefer, I’ve got you covered.

FRAME YOUR KIDS PAINTINGS

Another cute addition to the wall gallery is to frame and display the paintings that your kids make. You can create a gallery for them all on their own or mix and match with your photos. Its a lovely way to brighten up dull walls and your kids will love it. Frames with pegs are a great way to quickly and easily change up their masterpieces.

I ALMOST FORGOT

There’s another idea for the ledges that I almost forgot to share with you……store and display your kids books. These look really cool in a reading nook or unused corner of a bedroom. I promise your kids will love this!
